Manford’s Comedy Club is back at Ellesmere Port Civic Hall!4 Jun

Here at Brio, we know it’s not just exercise which contributes to a healthy, happy lifestyle but also having a good laugh! Over the duration of the year, we’ve got Manford’s Comedy Club across three of our venues which hosts some of the UK’s best comedians! Laughs are guaranteed!

We’re so proud to host a wide variety of shows and events here at Brio Entertainment, and one that I am especially always excited for is Manford’s Comedy Club! For just £10 you’ll get a whole evening’s worth of entertainment, and it’s also a great way to gather up your mates for an evening. Comedy nights are the new going out out, right?

At Neston Civic Hall’s first ever Manford’s Comedy Club last November we had a very exciting special guest, Russell Kane! Our group had the very smart idea of sitting in the front row, and lo and behold who should get heckled by him?! Of course, me! All in polite and good fun humour of course! It did make me feel part of the show and it’s quite a good claim to fame! Russell Kane came back to visit Brio a few months later at Northwich Memorial Court (this time we went for the middle seats), and once again delivered a stellar comedy show!

Over at Ellesmere Port Civic Hall on Friday 15 June, Manford’s are back and have lined up another selection of fantastic comedians! The hilarious Matt Reed is back to host the show, Matt always sets a great tone for the evening, getting the audience involved and asking them where they’re from.

There’s also the Top Gear companion show Extra Gear host George Lewis, as well as TV’s Craig Murray who you may recognise from the PlusNet adverts.

Jason Manford set up the comedy club as a great alternative to a usual night out, “The aim of the pop-up shows is to put top quality comedians in front of local audiences at a good price so that a good night out doesn’t have to cost the earth. The Civic Hall is a wonderful theatre for comedy, the staff are so friendly and the audience are absolutely amazing.”
