Get a head start in the exciting world of leisure with an apprenticeship at Brio! You’ll get hands-on experience, a salary and the opportunity to gain a qualification while you immerse yourself in the industry.
It’s increasingly common now to need a combination of experience and qualification when looking to build yourself a career, and it can often be tricky to get the right balance of the two. Our Apprenticeships give you both by combining on-the-job training with study and learning, meaning you “earn while you learn” by working alongside our experienced staff. It can take between 1 and 4 years to complete your Apprenticeship, and there might even be opportunities to progress on to a degree afterwards!
We offer lots of different types of Apprenticeships, including roles that operate out of our leisure centres, such as Leisure Attendants, Sports Attendants or Catering as well as roles in our Head Office departments, including Finance, Human Resources and Marketing. No matter which role you’re in, you’ll be working with a mentor to learn job-specific skills, and you’ll get off the job training too to really grow your skillset!
That’s not all though – while the government has set a national minimum wage of £3.30 per hour for Apprenticeships, the Brio starting wage is actually £4.00 per hour, with quarterly progression to £6.00 per hour.
