Volunteering at Brio
Get that warm, fuzzy feeling by doing something positive in your community!
Looking to bolster your CV while looking for employment? Have some free time you’d like to spend doing something productive? Or maybe you just want to meet new people and help improve your community? Whatever your reasons, volunteering with Brio is a fantastic way to get involved!
We’re making a commitment to increase volunteer popularity across Cheshire West & Chester in order to support our Integrated Wellness contract – specifically the Cheshire Change Hub, which is a free service that provides free support and guidance to help people live happier, healthier lives. We are also now working with Macmillan to deliver cancer support to people across the borough, and so we’re looking for people to volunteer their time to make this service a success! There are also volunteering opportunities in other areas of the business, including entertainment and events.
Volunteering is fantastic for the community as it builds social networks for everyone, including those who may be a bit more isolated than yourselves. Through building these relationships, we strengthen the community, improve the quality of life for people in need, and even make friends too!
It’s perfect if you’re looking to try something new, too. It’s a fantastic confidence-builder and will have you learning new skills in no time, making you more employable than ever! Research has also shown that volunteering improves a persons physical and mental wellbeing, so get involved and feel the benefits!
