Know Your Numbers Week is a great way to find out a bit more about yourself. It’s a way for adults to get to know their blood pressure as well as their height and weight!
Why is it important to know your blood pressure?
Various diseases are caused by high blood pressure, these include strokes and heart attacks. But having a high blood pressure isn’t easy to see, it has no symptoms with the only way to find out whether you have high blood pressure is by having it checked.
Know Your Numbers Week is a week where you can go and get your blood pressure checked for free to help you find out ways to keep your body healthy!
There are loads of places to get your blood pressure checked; it’s quick and easy and can be done in your spare time or just pop out on your lunch break!
These blood pressure stations will be all over the place; in pharmacies, workplaces, GP surgeries, hospitals, health clubs, leisure centres, shopping centres and supermarkets. You can check your nearest station here or find one in one of your local Brio centres by checking the table below!
