Swim Sessions and what you need to know!6 Aug
Heading back to our pools is a huge contrast to what it was like before! Here is everything you need to know so that you can help us keep our centres secure and keep you safe in your visit.
Booking
Before COVID, you were able to head into our centres without booking for a swim session. We now ask that you book a session each time you want to use our pools; this is so we can make sure everyone gets to use our facilities as the number of people allowed in the pool has decreased due to social distancing measures. This includes reduced water workouts timetable, reduced casual swim sessions and more. If you turn up to the centre without a booking for a session, unfortunately, you will be unable to take part in that session.
Arriving for your Swim
Please come along to your session pre-showed for your swim and with your swim kit under your clothing; we ask that you do this as you will only have access to our changing facilities after your swim. This helps us to decrease the number of rooms and people you come in contact with during your visit. When using our changing facilities, we ask that you don’t bring any shower gel or hair products so that you can use the showers quickly.
Our staff will be around to make sure that everything is kept clean, safe and COVID secure. You will have a box set aside to keep your clothes and belongings in on the side of the pool as you swim. This will be cleaned at the end of each session.
Lane Swim rules are outlined in this short video:
Please note that the hour session includes 45 minutes of swim and 15 minutes to change and leave.
