Clean, Safe, Fun Fitness

We can’t wait to see you all this Saturday as we reopen! Heading back to our centres after a long break will be tricky – we have also changed some areas of centres and so here is everything you need to know about what we’ve changed.

Reduced Timetables

We want you all to come back to your favourite fitness classes, and to be able to offer you these in a safe way. To adhere to government guidelines, we have reduced our timetables so that we can offer fitness classes as well as introducing social distance measures.

Please help us ensure that we keep our social distancing measures so that we can begin moving forward with opening our centres. As we start to understand how our centres can operate with these new measures, we will be able to look at expanding our timetables and gym sessions.

You will recognise that on our swim timetables we are starting with lane swim; like fitness classes, we will be looking at expanding this once we understand how well we can adapt our centres. To help ensure social distance measures are established in the gym, we have split gym equipment into various rooms to distance our customers.

Arrive in kit

With a lack of changing rooms, we ask that you both arrive and leave in your gym kit for both fitness classes and gym sessions; this can help us limit cross-contamination through our changing areas. We understand that this may be annoying for our customers, but this helps keep both customers and staff safe.

Swimming sessions also comply with our one-way system; this means you will need to arrive with your swimwear underneath your clothing. You will change into your swimwear in the pool area; after swimming, you will have access to the swim changing area but will not be able to shower with shower gel and hair products to limit the time in the changing area.

Your Brio centres will be different when you come back; please bear with all our staff as they also grow accustomed to our new regulations. We will be looking at how to improve this regularly so keep an eye on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram platforms.
