Get the family active at Neston Recreation Centre’s Open Day!4 May

National School Sports Week runs from 20 – 24 June, and this years theme is the Rio 2016 Olympics!
The aim of the week is to encourage students to exercise more, play sports and live an active lifestyle. There are plenty of ways for young people to get active at Brio Leisure – as well as our gyms and swimming pools, many of centres can be used to play a multitude of sports including badminton, football, basketball, squash and more!
On Thursday 23 June, Neston Recreation Centre will be holding an open day to support National School Sports Week. The guys from Neston High School will be showcasing the sports and fitness facilities during their lunchtime and after school, and we’ll be running free gym inductions, show rounds and the Cheshire Change Hub team will be offering free health advice! And for anyone that signs up for a membership on the day, you’ll also get a free goodie bag!
There’s loads of benefits to having an active family!
- You can support and motivate each other. A little friendly competition never hurt either!
- Parents – by living an active, healthy lifestyle you’ll be reinforcing that passion in your children too.
- It’s fun! Grab the family for a game of doubles badminton, or a Wet ’n’ Wild swim session – it’s a fun way to spend time together.
Taking advantage of a free gym induction will equip you with the knowledge to make the most out of the gym at Neston Recreation Centre. If you choose to take up a membership too, you’ll go through our Member Journey process. One of our Gym Instructors will sit down with you to help you identify your goals, and build you a personal programme that will get you the results you want! This gets followed up with reviews and re-programmes to ensure you stay on the path to a new you!
Come along to Neston Recreation Centre on Thursday 23 June to find out more about the centre and what it has to offer! Give the centre a call on 0151 336 5741 to book your free induction.
