You heard it here first. Brio Winsford are getting a fresh new gym.

Work will begin on Monday, 8 June, with the gym expected to reopen on Monday, 22 June.

The refurbishment is designed to improve your overall gym experience with brand-new equipment, refreshed interiors, more weights, a brand-new sound system, and so much more!

so, what’s changing? 

Members can look forward to:

• Brand-new Gym Gear equipment throughout the gym
• Upgraded flooring and décor
• A new sound system
• Additional weight stations
• A dedicated floorwork and functional training area
• Improved technology and connectivity on selected equipment

The new equipment has been selected to provide a smoother, more comfortable training experience, with improved accessibility and better performance tracking. What a win.

during the refurb…

While the refurbishment is underway, the main gym area will close for approximately 2 weeks.

But fear not, members will still be able to train:

• The Box will stay open and will be bookable via the app*
• Members can use Brio Northwich or any other Brio fitness facility

*Bookable sessions may be introduced to help manage capacity

FAQs

Will my membership be frozen during the closure?

No. Memberships will continue as normal because alternative workout spaces and facilities will still be available.

What equipment brand are we getting?

We’re upgrading the gym with new equipment from Gym Gear.

Will there be any new technology?

Yes. The upgraded equipment will include improved connectivity, app integration, and performance-tracking features.

Can I use another gym during the closure?

Yes. Members can use Brio Northwich or any of our other Brio facilities while the work is taking place.

Can I cancel my membership during the closure?

Memberships can still be cancelled in line with our standard terms and conditions.

Will classes and normal schedules resume after reopening?

Yes. We aim to return to normal operations once the refurbishment work is complete.
