Brio in your local community

Have you heard about our Active Communities (also known as ‘spoke’) classes? They’re essentially your favourite Brio fitness classes, delivered in venues outside of our hub sites across Cheshire West & Chester.
We run these sessions because we believe everyone should have access to exercise, regardless of barriers like travel and cost. It’s all a part of our mission to help more people enjoy the benefits of staying active and connecting with others in their community.
The impact of these classes speak for themselves - during 2024/2025, we delivered 7 community targeted activities, helping 234 previously inactive residents get involved in exercise. We’ve also partnered with charities like FHE Together to offer free classes, such as Falls Prevention, with a fantastic response from the community!
We’re currently offering 9 successful Active Communities classes across Cheshire West & Chester, each offering something a little different.
Here’s where you can find them:
- Great Sutton Hall, Ellesmere Port - Pure Stretch
- The Venue, Rudheath - Pilates
- Waverton Village Hall, Waverton - Legs, Bums & Tums
- Delamere Community Centre, Delamere - Yoga
- St John’s Church Hall, Hartford - Pure Stretch
- Winnington Village Community Building, Northwich - Legs, Bums & Tums
- Alpraham and Calverley Village Hall, Tarporley - Brio HIIT
- St Marys Handbridge Centre, Handbridge - Pilates
Whether you’re looking to move more, try something new, or meet people in your area, Active Communities is a great place to start. Even better, Brio members can attend for free, and pay-as-you-go rates are available for newcomers.
