For those who require assistance whilst using our facilities, +1 carer will be allowed free entry. The +1 must act as support for the individual and must remain with their client at all times and are not permitted to participate in their own swimming or workout exercises. In the gym, the carer must not utilise a piece of equipment to the detriment of another paying customer. They will be allowed to enter the swimming pool with the individual if required.
For fitness and aqua fitness classes, if someone requires direct support to carry out the exercises, the carer is allowed access free of charge. However, due to strict occupancy numbers, they are not permitted to take part in the full class. We will make reasonable adjustments where possible to enable the carer to be close to their client, so they can assist and support where needed.
Please note: Individuals who require the support of more than one carer must discuss their needs with the manager on duty at each site they will use.
