The Brio Leisure team had quite the night on Thursday, October 26, at the Ukactive Awards in Leeds (the dance moves were pretty incredible!) 🕺🏽.

We were invited to attend the awards as we were nominated in two categories: Regional Centre of the Year, North and Marketing Campaign of the Year.

So, drum roll please 🥁🥁🥁 … Winsford Lifestyle Centre was crowned the North’s ‘Regional Centre of the Year’! A huge, well-deserved achievement for the whole team!

Fun fact, Brio also won “Organisation of the Year” back in 2019, so we are thrilled to be recognised in multiple categories once again this year. The Ukactive Awards are the most prestigious in the physical activity sector, and they offer service providers from across the UK the chance to come together and celebrate the great work being done in the industry.

Matt Parker, Brio Leisure’s Managing Director was thrilled with the results of the evening and said,

Winsford Lifestyle Centre is much more than a leisure centre, it is a hub at the heart of the local community.’

We all know how great Winsford is, they are an integral part of our community, offering members a variety of swimming activities, over 70 fitness classes per week, racquet sports, gym workouts, and personal training. The centre recently added an additional gym space called ‘The Box’ in response to customer demand too.

Jamie Jones, the gym lead at Winsford Lifestyle Centre had this to say,

“It’s such an amazing achievement to not only be shortlisted as a finalist for this award, but an even bigger achievement to bring the award back to Winsford. Our teams work extremely hard, day in and day out, and they thoroughly deserve the recognition this award brings. We pride ourselves in being the hub of the community and we will continue to strive to ensure we’re able to provide a range of activities to all within the great community that is Winsford.
