Time to Talk Day1 Feb

Time to Talk Day

The annual campaign, ‘Time to Talk Day’ is back on Thursday 3rd February 2022!

The initiative is all about creating supportive communities by encouraging conversations between family, friends, colleagues or someone you trust about mental health.

Many people find that keeping their bodies moving helps them maintain a positive mindset, but with 1 in 4 of us experiencing mental health problems in any given year, talking about our problems can also really support ourselves and others.

We want you to feel comfortable talking about your mental health, so we’ve put together a list of ways you can incorporate a good catch up and movement together, it’s Time to Talk!

Treadmill talks

Bring a friend and work out together, time goes fast when you are having fun and having a natter! With our WorkFit Membership, you can bring along your work colleagues at a discounted price and have a break from life!

Group walk wonders

Sometimes, a nice walk and a catch up with someone you love and trust can be all you need to set the world to rights. If it’s cold, take a flask of tea and wrap up warm!

Spa room chats

Some of our centres have access to a sauna, steam room or even a Jacuzzi! Perfect to relax, unwind and offload your thoughts.

Gym instructor gabs

Our Brio teams are there to help you stay safe and enjoy your time with Brio. Blow off some steam and catch up!

Casual swim convos

Swimming is tiring, sometimes we need a rest in between strokes to recharge! A perfect time to check in on those around you.

Team natters

Our fitness classes are such great fun and perfect to enjoy with friends! Or why not pick up a racquet and hash out your troubles on the courts!

We understand that for some people, talking is just the start if you need to seek further help to support yourself and your wellbeing, Mind and Rethink are just two incredible sites that offer this support.
