New year, new What’s On Guide!

Here at Brio, we know that wellbeing isn’t just about a good workout, it’s about having the best times with great friends and family. This is why Brio Entertainment is so important, and we recently grew the team to help spread the word.

Meet Tori! Our Marketing Assistant focusing on all things entertainment, she’s here to tell us about her role and our brand new Spring/Summer What’s On Guide!

Hello! I’m so excited to have the brand new What’s On Guide sitting on my desk – if not admittedly a bit relieved! It’s undeniably our biggest Marketing project here in the world of Brio Entertainment so it’s great to finally see all that work together in the flesh!

I joined the team back in September to help support and promote the Entertainment brand, and the past few months have been a fabulous whirlwind of pantomimes, musicals and a voodoo-themed circus!

In our last blog, I interviewed Phil, our Entertainment Manager, who had some unbelievable stories from over the years, it really is an exciting world of Entertainment here at Brio! I’m starting to collect my own claims to fame including getting heckled by Russell Kane at our first Manford’s Comedy Club in Neston Civic Hall! It was a hilarious evening, and undeniably one of my highlights.

Our new What’s On Guide is now ready to make its way into the world, waiting to shout to everyone about all our wonderful shows coming up – there are already quite a few that I’ve got my eye on! I can’t wait for ABP Productions’ upcoming panto Alice in Wonderland this Easter at Northwich Memorial Court, and of course the Christmas pantomimes at Northwich and Ellesmere Port!

As soon as I heard Jamie Raven was coming to Northwich, I was straight onto YouTube reminiscing of his mesmerising performances on Britain’s Got Talent. It’s going to be a spectacular show and I’m so intrigued to see what magic he will be doing this September!

One of the reasons I was so excited by my role at Brio Entertainment was my love for music. Having grown up in a house of very eclectic musical tastes, our tribute shows over at Ellesmere Port Civic Hall ‘Through the Decades With Roy and Buddy’ and ‘Patsy Cline and Friends’ are right up my street! Not forgetting my favourite childhood throwbacks, ‘Wannabe – The Spice Girls Show’ over at Northwich Memorial Court!

2018 is set to be another exciting year, make sure to pick up your copy of the new What’s On Guide in our centres today or click here to view it online now!
