The award-winning Lion Salt Works demonstrates the processes of open-pan salt production through film, audio, objects and the restored buildings. This extra-ordinary project explores the impact of salt on Cheshire lives, industry and landscape. Stories of the work and the workers will fascinate and inspire visitors of all ages. A rolling programme of events, activities and exhibitions will engage visitors of all ages. Café, play area, butterfly garden.
