Tiddler and Other Terrific Tales is coming to life this August!9 Jul

We love summer here at Brio Entertainment! We’ve even got the perfect show for your little ones over the holidays!

As we near the end of our summer season here at Brio Entertainment, we’re working hard behind the scenes getting ready for the season ahead!

This includes creating our brand new Autumn/Winter What’s On Guide! You may have noticed our last What’s On Guide had a bit of a facelift, and our junior graphic designer is continuing to make it as beautiful and sparkly as the last one!

However, we do have one more show coming up this summer that we want to tell you all about, Tiddler and Other Terrific Tales!

The well-loved children’s books by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler are coming to life this August at Northwich Memorial Court.

Julia Donaldson is a multi-award winning author of some of the world’s favourite children’s books, who could forget the adorable tales of The Gruffalo and Stick Man? Tiddler and Other Terrific Tales amalgamates the stories and characters of the best-loved titles: Tiddler, Monkey Puzzle, The Smartest Giant in Town and A Squash and a Squeeze.

For Julia Donaldson, “the greatest pleasure comes from reading a book and all that the imagination can bring to that experience. I don’t see books and television and theatre as competing with each other. What matters is that children have the opportunity to experience that pleasure of reading a book.”

“And the whole experience of theatre is also something magical – especially for children who have not been to the theatre before. I went to the theatre to see Where the Rainbow Ends as a child and that is something I still remember. That memory and that experience of theatre will stay with them for ever.”

The show arrives at Northwich Memorial Court on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 August.
