Introducing our new Vintage Matinees!

As we launch our new Autumn/Winter What’s On Guide, we’ve got loads of new shows coming up at Brio Entertainment!

Our new What’s On Guide has landed in our centres and if you haven’t already got your hands on one you definitely should! You can also find it online here!

Along with the launch of our new What’s On, we’ve also launched a new afternoon of shows called Vintage Matinees! We wanted to create a relaxed and quiet environment for our audience to come along and enjoy the shows, and Afternoon Tea can be purchased too.

On 1 November, we will be showing the multi-award winning movie Darkest Hour which explores the life and career of Prime Minister Winston Churchill. We wanted to give our audience the opportunity to come and see new movies that they may not have seen before, any ideas for new films are always welcome!

Excitement for Christmas has undeniably already started at Brio Entertainment, and we look forward to welcoming Neil Sands back to Northwich Memorial Court for his show Christmas Memories on 29 November. Neil’s shows are a wonderful nostalgic trip back in time with music through the years, and of course there will be some festive favourites!

We’re also really happy to announce that we will be doing a Dementia Friendly and a Relaxed Performance of Cinderella this December. These performances will have reduced volume, no loud or sudden noises. There will be no use of pyrotechnics, the house will remain partially lit and there will be no bright lights in the audience.

All interaction will be contained on the stage – with no cast members entering the audience.

It’s an informal and relaxed environment with spacious cabaret seating and the audience are free to move and walk around if they wish. There will also be designated quiet and changing spaces that the audience can use outside of the auditorium. The show will be an abridged performance.

Additionally, our dementia friendly performance will have dementia friendly signage in the building.

When Darkest Hour, Christmas Memories and our Dementia Friendly Showing of Cinderella are booked together you will receive 10% off your booking! Here at Brio Entertainment, registered carers go free to any of our shows.
