From gaining water confidence to stroke development and ‘rookie’ lifeguard, the Brio Leisure lessons programme has something for everyone.
No matter what your age or ability, our fully qualified ASA teachers will conduct a free initial assessment before all lessons to ensure you're learning at the right level and getting the most from your time in the pool.
Aqua Tots lessons are aimed towards young preschool children aged from the age of 18 months, to be introduced to swimming lessons. Following the ASA Duckling Award Scheme, initially with the support of a parent or guardian, and then to progress to building their water confidence on their own.
Parents and guardians do not need to be able to swim to attend these lessons. Aqua Tots provides the perfect opportunity for you to learn together, and will give you some great ideas to practice in one of our other swimming sessions!
For children aged 4 years and above who have completed one full term in school, the Aqua Kids lesson programme caters for children from complete beginners to improvers.
Following a structured lesson programme through the ASA National Teaching Plan for Swimming and the Learn to Swim Scheme, children will gain new skills whilst having fun and making friends.
It’s never too late to learn to swim! From absolute beginners to improvers Aqua Adult lessons are a great way to help build your confidence in the water.
If your child’s water confidence could do with a boost, Brio Leisure Swim runs a series of crash course swimming lessons during the school holidays. Suitable for kids aged 4 ½ years and over, from complete beginners to improvers.
Look out in the Kids Zone for details on the next Junior Aqua Booster sessions happening near you!
