Athletics

Athletics offers a range of disciplines in which you can train to improve your fitness. This could be a combination of:

  • Running – sprints, middle and long distance, hurdles and steeplechase
  • Jumping – high jump, long jump, triple jump
  • Throwing – javelin, discus, shot put, hammer throw

So whether you can run fast, jump high or throw far, Brio Fitness has the facilities to help athletes of all abilities to improve their form.

Stanney Oaks Leisure Centre and Knights Grange Sports Complex both have well maintained, high quality athletics tracks open for casual use and training.

Track and field equipment is available to hire on request, for more information please contact the reception at your nearest centre.

West Cheshire Athletics Club trains regularly at Stanney Oaks and the Vale Royal Athletic Club uses the facilities at Knights Grange. Both clubs provide coaching from qualified UK Athletics registered coaches and welcome new members.
