Free Tennis Havoc volunteer coach training!

A pioneering programme to encourage more youngsters into tennis is rolling out this summer, and now is your chance to get involved!

Tennis Havoc sessions are fun, informally led sessions in outside areas across Cheshire West and Chester. Non-traditional tennis activities such as swing ball, short tennis and inflatable training aids are used to break down barriers and provide a soft introduction to the sport.

There are plenty of volunteering opportunities for those who want to lead these sessions, and it’s free to train as a coach! These training sessions take part on July 24 and 25 July, and no formal tennis background is required! You’ll be taught how to engage, manage and motivate young people, equipping your with lasting, transferable skills!

Tennis Havoc is aimed at 14 – 25 year olds and will run throughout the summer holidays, with the first event taking place on July 28.

For more information on the free coach training sessions, contact Lauren Harben on 01606 330212 or email lauren.harben@sportcheshire.org
