Hooton Golf Course

Hooton Golf Course (formerly known as Ellesmere Port Golf Club) is a municipal course that has all the classical features of a challenging golf course including fantastic surroundings and a good variation of holes, with a wide selection of hazards to overcome. In fact it's hard to believe it's a municipal golf course! It offers golfers of all abilities a fabulous value for money golf experience. There are brooks, ponds, mature trees and plenty of bunkers, all of which add character to the course and will naturally heighten the challenge.

The closing four holes will be a great test of your golfing ability whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced golfer. It is here you will find Hooton Golf Club's signature hole - the 17th, a par 3 measuring 189 yards. With thick surrounding woodland and a ditch running across the length of the green, you will understand why it is one of the most talked about par 3's in the area!

How to Find Us

From M53: At junction 5, take the A41 exit to Birkenhead / Queensferry. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A41 heading towards Chester. Continue to follow the A41 to see Hooton Golf Course approximately 1 mile on the left.
