Ellesmere Port Civic Hall is an impressive building situated in the heart of Ellesmere Port Town Centre, and is surrounded by ample secure, pay and display car parking.

Built in 1955 and refurbished in 2002, the multipurpose venue has a number of rooms available for business hire and events. Facilities

The Main Hall

The Main Hall can be hired with or without the stage and balcony and is ideal for a range of larger business functions. The seating capacity varies from around 270 for a dinner / dance to over 630 for events requiring spectator seats only. The hall has a well equipped stage with a modern sound and lighting system. We also have our friendly and experienced staff on hand to offer technical support to ensure everything runs smoothly.

The Civic Suite & Lounge Bar

The Civic Suite and Lounge Bar have a capacity of 120 and can be hired separately from the Main Hall. This is a versatile suite with an adjacent, fully equipped kitchen, which makes it particularly suitable for functions with catering requirements. The Lounge Bar can also be hired on it's own for smaller meetings.

Meeting Room

The Meeting Room provides comfortable accommodation for up to 12 people.

Vauxhall Suite

Situated on the first floor this room is completely versatile and can seat up to 60 people theatre style.
