Enjoy a Wirral Walk

As the summer starts to get closer, it’s the time to be out and about, enjoying the outdoors!

At times like these, it often feels more energising to be exercising outside! A nice stroll through the countryside can be the perfect compliment to your usual gym sessions or fitness classes. The upcoming Wirral Walking Festival gives you the opportunity to spend more time outdoors taking in the historic features and landscapes of the area. We’re supporting these walks as a way to encourage exercising and activity in the lovely Cheshire countryside!

The Chairman of the Brio board, Anthony Annakin-Smith, is running a walk around the Raby area. It’s a circular walk along little-used paths to the ancient and pretty village of Raby.

This is a gentle walk that everyone can enjoy, but can be wet so bring your waterproofs, walking shoes and some water to keep hydrated! The walk 4.25 miles and completely free, so feel free to bring along the family and even your dog!

The walk takes place Monday 23 May, 6.30pm – 9.00pm with the meeting point at Neston Recreation Centre. Booking is essential as theres limited spaces, but drop in to Neston Recreation Centre and register your interest with our reception team.
