Car Park Changes at Northwich Memorial Court

There are some changes to parking at Northwich Memorial Court.

As you may have heard, Cheshire West and Chester Council are making some changes to council-owned car parks around Northwich to introduce parking charges. One of the car parks affected is the Chester Way car park that is outside Northwich Memorial Court. This is referred to as Memorial Court car park.

Brio has been working hard with the Council to acquire time for its staff and customers free of charge. You’ll be entitled to a free 3-hour period of parking, enabling you to undertake an activity, shower, and have time for refreshments. Any time over and above the 3 hour free of charge use will then be charged at 20p for the first two hours rising to 50p for 2-4 hours. The full range of charging is attached.

There will be a validating machine in Northwich Memorial Court for Brio users and staff to approve the free 3 hours. This is a short term solution, and longer term, we are looking at an improved technical approach which would see this dealt with in the car park directly using the Brio card.

If you are already a Brio card holder, then you will receive an email too. If you would like to become a Brio card holder, you can sign up for a free Leisure Card online, or ask at Reception for more information about the benefits.

The new car park changes will be coming into effect across Northwich in late November, so we expect the Chester Way car park to see these changes before Christmas.

You can keep up-to-date with the parking changes and all other centre news by following Northwich Memorial Court on Facebook.
